What is RPZ Testing & why is it needed?
RPZ valves are required in buildings that have fire suppression systems, irrigation systems and large boilers. The RPZ valve prevents the backflow of contaminants from polluting water supplies.

The State of Minnesota requires RPZ valves in all new construction as of January 2016. Along with requiring the RPZ valves, the new code also requires that the RPZ valves be tested annually by a licensed professional.
